Julia Dinmore, Communications & Outreach Specialist

Julia Dinmore is the Communications and Outreach Specialist with Engage Climate Science. In 2021, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Society with a concentration in Environmental Health from Cornell University. Her passion for blending STEM and the Humanities within the environmental realm has defined her career.
Julia started as a Campaign Associate with Environment America, crafting messaging, coordinating events, and connecting with audiences to promote conservation. She went on to a communications-forward role with The Water Research Foundation, where she managed the scientific publication pipeline and social media platforms.
From there, Julia joined the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. As Communications Representative, she created and carried out strategic communications plans for the Water Power Division, working closely with researchers on hydropower and marine energy projects. In 2026, she completed her Master of Arts in Fiction Writing from Johns Hopkins University. With her love for storytelling and deep appreciation for climate science, Julia aims to use her versatile skillset to get Engage out to the leaders and organizations who need it most.
